Categorizing Gen Z and the Rise of “Micro-gens”
Categorization is a common practice. We segment customers based on demographics and psychographics, and we categorize employees by their positions, diversity status, or performance. However, when it comes to people, categorization can be limiting, especially when it comes to generational categorization. It's time to move away from broad categorizations and stereotypes (and even personas) and start recognizing the diversity within Generation Z and Gen Alpha.
